Would you like to try lacrosse? We take part in the initiative "Gemeinsam fit . Beweg dich mit!".

Every Monday from 19:00 to 20:30 in Sportanlage Stadlau; Erzherzog-Karl-Straße 108, 1220 Vienna.

Besides, the regular training of the men's and women's team of the Vienna Monarchs takes place at the same time. So you can get a picture of our club right away!

Tagesordnung

Ab 18. 5. haben wir wieder Training! Das Training wird zur üblichen Zeit um 20:00 anfangen mit der Einhaltung aller Mindesabstände und Anzahl der Personen auf dem Spielfeld. Das heißt 2 Meter Abstand halten zu anderen und maximal 10 Personen pro Platzhäfte. Dadurch kann das Training nur ohne Körperkontakt stattfinden. Kabinen und die Duschen werden auch gesperrt sein.

After the first measures taken by the austrian government we see it as responsibility to cancel all men’s, women’s and youth training until the end of march.

We wish everyone affected by CoViD a speedy recovery and are hoping to get back to normal as soon as possible.

Sticks up!

As tradition demands, a team of the Vienna Monarchs made their way to Budapest for the New Years Cup this year. After the journey began early Saturday morning, they probably didn't get enough sleep for their first game against the Polish national team. It gave the impression that the opponent was simply more awake and they quickly fell behind with some goals. Unfortunately, the Monarchs could not catch up throughout the whole game, because especially at the beginning of the game, they let the physical style of play buy their guts and their opponents made good use of their chances.

We are happy to announce that we will participate in the 1. Slovak Boxlacrosse League. The Slovak teams Bratislava Bats, Skalica Chiefs, and Trnava Sabers will also participate beside the Polish Eagles.  All games will take place in Bratislava at Areal Netradicnych sportov. The first gameday is on the 1st December against the Trnav a Sabers.

Fortunately, the Danube Lacrosse League, which was founded last year, was enriched by one more team this year. In addition to the teams from Bratislava, Budapest, Graz and Vienna, the Olimpia Lacrosse team from Ljubljana also took part this year. The first match day began for the Monarch as the last season had ended. So the first game on domestic grass, the league rookies from Ljubljana could be beaten scarcely with 5 to 4. On the same day, the first duel with the Bratislava Tricksters took place, which was clearly won with 9 to 3.
