The Vienna Monarchs women’s team was founded on July 1st, 2006, by seven motivated participants of an USI class. Since then we hold practice twice a week and are always glad to find new motivated players.

We have been participants in the Austrian Lacrosse League since 2007 and were also able to win the title.

I addition we attend international tournaments to gain experience. But it’s not only about the playing on the field but also about the fun off the field, where teammates often become good friends.

Over the past years we participated, for example, in the New Year’s Cup in Budapest, the Isar Box tournament and the Laxtoberfest in Munich, the Tricksters Cup in Bratislava and the Minileague in Prague. Of course we also play as the Vienna Monarchs in our own tournament, the Austrian Lacrosse Open in Vienna.
