On the second Weekend of March we had the great opportunity to play against LCC Radotin (the presumably best team in Europe) and their youth team LCC Wolves in our 5th and 6th game of the NBLL.
The harsh weather conditions already started on the drive up to Radotin, but a little rain couldn't lower the motivation of our men's team.
After an overslept first quarter the home team was leading 9:1. The experienced players from Radotin know how to take advantage of their momentum and further extend their lead to 18:4 in the second quarter. Despite the score we didn't lose our fighting spirit which we showed with a tied fourth quarter. The game ended with a score of 29:12
Scorers: Balasch(4), Fujita(4), Hauer, Lerch, Probst, Reinsperger
We used the Evening to refuel at our favorite mexican restaurant and getting ready to take on our next opponent LCC Wolves.
Sunday morning before our game we had the opportunity to use Radotins new turf for a practice. At 2:30 pm our 6th NBLL game started and opposed to the prior game we were able to keep up with the Wolves. Within the first quarter the rain showers started to get so heavy that both the life streaming and the scoreboard broke down. With a score of 7:9 just 2 goals short we went in the halftime break. With a new boost of motivation we started in the 3rd quarter and tied the quarter. In the end the LCC Wolves were able to score 3 quick goals and secure their win. The final score ended up being 17:13
Scorers: Hauer(5), Balasch (4), Reinsperger(2), Lerch, Probst
