Just another day in Bratislava. This time the Monarchs had a whole week to prepare for a single game on this particular Sunday, on which they were dying to prove that they were able to beat the Junior squad reigning from Prague they had previously lost to this season.
From the starting face off it became evident that the short-staffed Monarchs had all that they could bargain for with the numerous Youngsters from Prague. Occasional successes in man-down situations combined with a strong transitional performance from Balasch and secondary scoring from Lerch did not level out the playing field. Tactical mishaps and lapses in concentration were caused by confusion in offense as well as defense, which left the Monarchs licking their wounds at the end of the game.
The final score was 25-10 in favor of the Wolves. Balasch (7), Marvin (2), Hauer(1)
