This year marked the tenth anniversary of our participation at the XXIII Aleš Hřebeský Memorial in Radotin. The anticipation was, as always almost unbearable and, due to a sixth and tenth place in the previous years, we arrived there with a lot of self-confidence. After a victory against Switzerland and a loss against Megamen Boston in the group phase, we advanced to the knock-out round of the top 16 teams. There, our chance to the title ended with a loss against last year's finalist, the Green Gaels from Ireland. We were able to win the following games against the Istanbul Sultans and the London Knights with team spirit and tireless effort. In the placement game against the defending champion, the Vancouver Pioneers, nothing was to be won.
In the end, we finished at a well-deserved tenth place. We were able to keep up with last year's achievements and successfully reached or goal to say in the second group for the draw. We are already looking forward to April 26 to 29, 2017, when we will once more say "AHM XXIV, here we come!".
