Besides, the regular training of the men's and women's team of the Vienna Monarchs takes place at the same time. So you can get a picture of our club right away!

Tagesordnung

Ab 18. 5. haben wir wieder Training! Das Training wird zur üblichen Zeit um 20:00 anfangen mit der Einhaltung aller Mindesabstände und Anzahl der Personen auf dem Spielfeld. Das heißt 2 Meter Abstand halten zu anderen und maximal 10 Personen pro Platzhäfte. Dadurch kann das Training nur ohne Körperkontakt stattfinden. Kabinen und die Duschen werden auch gesperrt sein.

After the first measures taken by the austrian government we see it as responsibility to cancel all men’s, women’s and youth training until the end of march.

We wish everyone affected by CoViD a speedy recovery and are hoping to get back to normal as soon as possible.

Sticks up!

As tradition demands, a team of the Vienna Monarchs made their way to Budapest for the New Years Cup this year. After the journey began early Saturday morning, they probably didn't get enough sleep for their first game against the Polish national team. It gave the impression that the opponent was simply more awake and they quickly fell behind with some goals. Unfortunately, the Monarchs could not catch up throughout the whole game, because especially at the beginning of the game, they let the physical style of play buy their guts and their opponents made good use of their chances.

We are happy to announce that we will participate in the 1. Slovak Boxlacrosse League. The Slovak teams Bratislava Bats, Skalica Chiefs, and Trnava Sabers will also participate beside the Polish Eagles.  All games will take place in Bratislava at Areal Netradicnych sportov. The first gameday is on the 1st December against the Trnav a Sabers.

This year’s Austrian Lacrosse Open took place for the 14^th time on the 25^th and 26^th of May in Vienna. This year also brought some big changes to the tournament.

For the first time, we were able to welcome all teams to our new home at FC Stadlau. The warm may weather allowed the full use of all facilities, such as the swimming pool with a view on the field was a real highlight.

It was that time of the year again when 24 teams from all over the world come to Radotin to compete to see which team is best. The Vienna Monarchs competed in the Aleš Hřebeský Memorial Tournament for the 12th time, this instance without the help from their Czech friends from Pardubice. It was an event for the National Box Team to learn and grow together. Unfortunately, a few experienced players were missing because of injury and sickness.
