#20 Christopher Ives: |

Being asked about of Christopher Ives, I would give following answer:
“This guy was f***in’ gorgeous” Chris
showed us what Lacrosse is all
about: teamwork, enthusiasm, communication, etc. He simply lived
Lacrosse. He pushed each of us
to a higher level with numerous advices on techniques. (tribute by Mike Chlibowycz) |

#7 Jordan Lex: |

It was a cold and snowy afternoon
last Winter, when a tall guy came along at our practice at the Jesuitenwiese, astonished
asking, "Do you play Lacrosse in Austria?" Well, this was the very beginning
of Jordan at the Monarchs. Many long-poll-practices, hard games and harder
nights hanging out followed and it was easy to see that Jordan had this
special 'GROOVY SMOOTHNESS'. As a tough coreplayer of our team he scored not only in
front of the opposing goal, he was the General of making party! Besides saying 'yesss'
to all the horizons-broadening discussions ;o), he gave everybody a very special
and precious gift: his SOUL. (tribute by Chris Mistelbauer) |

#F16 Anna Kavalauskas: |
|
|
|
The train left with our Anna-girl on it. Something is missing. Not
only the famous “Just watch my nose” and “Babsi, why…???” but especially
that great white smile accompanied by those angel curls and random funny
lines we all loved so much. Thank you Anna for helping us building up the
Lady Monarchs and showing us what lacrosse is all about. Dedication and good
thoughts made us move forward an not only lacrosse made us stick together.
If it was a coffee at Starbucks, a great party or just a movie at your place
with some pasta on our shirts, everything was fun with you.
I hope you’ll remember all of this for the rest of your life (if not, there
are tons of pics that will help you ;o). Actually, you won’t need to be
remembering because YOU ARE COMING BACK!!! (tribute by Barbara Zelenay) |

#18 James Tsujimoto: |
|
|
|
James will be missed greatly by the Monarchs. He is back to Indiana via a summer of backpacking across Europe, or maybe just a prolonged stay in Amsterdam. We all wish he could still be here, but he must get back to Wabash College eventually and pursue his goal of getting into law school so he can get a high paying job and just “chill” in his later years. Besides his jokes and “relaxed” mindset, we will also have to do without his skills on the field, even though they were mysteriously not razor sharp on a couple given Sundays. Without getting too emotional, James, you will be greatly missed and everyone wishes you a great trip throughout Europe and are awaiting your return as a guest player as soon as you get a chance. Your friend and semi-roommate, Jordan Lex. (tribute by Jordan Lex) |

Dear Erick (aka Jause Meister, Dirty Sanchez, Diana,) the Vienna Monarchs would like to express their gratitude and thank you for your dedication, ambitious work and lots of good feeds from behind the cage. We truly appreciated you as a member of our team, which you truly helped building up in the last couple of weeks. We all wish you the very best for your time in Hamburg and we will never forget the awesome time we had together (Kromeriz, Radotin, Budersdorf...) The no. 4 will always remain yours, as you will always remain a member of our team. Remember you are more than welcome to play on our team and as a guest in my home at any given time. Yours, #11 Navid, Your roomate and team-captain of the Vienna Monarchs Lacrosse Club. PS: I'll miss you stupid c**t! (tribute by Navid Alizadeh, Teamcaptain) |
